Safety
Community guidelines and safety
What we expect from everyone, and an honest account of what the platform does and does not do to keep you safe.
Community guidelines
- Treat people with basic respect. No harassment, hate speech or threats.
- No sexual content involving minors. Ever.
- Do not impersonate others or misrepresent who you are.
- No spam, scams or attempts to drive people off-platform for fraud.
- If someone asks you to stop, stop. If you feel unsafe, leave and report.
What we do
- Provide block and report tools in every conversation.
- Route reports to a human moderation queue, prioritising urgent categories.
- Allow you to delete your account and your data on request.
- Keep you pseudonymous by default — your username is a handle, not a credential.
What we do not do
- We do not record or store your audio or video.
- We do not monitor every conversation. We are not watching your chats.
- We do not automatically decide the outcome of reports — people review them.
- We cannot guarantee that any given stranger is safe or well-intentioned.
Protecting yourself
- Do not share personal information you are not comfortable being public.
- Never move to another app or send money on the strength of a stranger's story.
- Video and voice reveal more than text — you can always stay in text mode.
- Trust your instincts. Ending or blocking needs no justification.
If something goes wrong
In an emergency, contact your local emergency services first. For anything happening on the platform, use the report and block controls in the conversation. Urgent categories — threats of violence, self-harm, and anything involving minors — are triaged first by our moderation team.
